American Diabetes Association 15th Annual Community Forum and Health & Wellness Fair
The American Diabetes Association kicks off American Diabetes Month by offering a free educational program to residents of the Capital District. The 15th Annual Community Forum’s goal is to bring people living with diabetes and their families together with representatives from the healthcare industry\, healthy living vendors\, pharmaceutical representatives and diabetes support group and services representatives.
\;Visit a variety of vendors with health and wellness information\, receive free health screenings including blood pressure\, foot screening\, diabetes assessment\, glucose and more. Hear from keynote speaker\, Kristen Caponera\, MS\, RD on "strong Nutrition from the Start" and observe\, sample and learn to cook diabetic friendly meals from our sponsor ShopRite Supermarkets.
