DESCRIPTION:Ballston Spa rings in the Holiday Season in Hometown StyleBallston Spa Holiday Celebration\, December 2-4:  A holiday tradition\, “hometown-style” as the village of Ballston Spa rings in the season with this festive weekend celebration. Events include the Holiday Parade on Friday\, December 2\; step off at 6:30 pm\, with holiday floats\, musicians and carolers\, animals\, fire trucks and more.  Parade route: Step off at old South Street School (Reserve America)\, proceeding down Milton Avenue (Rt. 50) onto West High Street to Bath Street to Wiswall Park.  Santa lights the village tree at Wiswall Park at approximately 7:45. Shops and restaurants will be open that evening with music\, refreshments\, demonstrations and displays as part a special holiday-themed version of the village's monthly First Friday event.  Throughout the weekend\, local churches will be performing Christmas programs\, Breakfast With Santa will take place and there will be special holiday shopping at many of the village’s fine shops.
