DESCRIPTION:1Love Playing For Change Day unites a global community through the power of music to affect positive social change. This is our second Playing for Change Day concert in Saratoga Springs\, NY. Returning this year is jazz/folk guitarist/vocalist Miche Fambro (www.michefambro.com) to perform and host the event at the historic Universal Preservation Hall in downtown Saratoga Springs (www.universalpreservationhall.org). In the spirit of Playing for Change\, this year we are featuring the music faculty from our school. Each ensemble will also feature Saratoga Springs student musicians. We felt this would be a wonderful opportunity to showcase the talented and committed musicians who are teaching our kids about music\, a chance for our community to hear the heartbeat of our music program - and at the same time raise some money and raise some awareness about 1Love Playing for Change.
