DESCRIPTION:TRASK Art Show and Fundraising Event to Benefit the Spirit of Life Restoration Campaign.Thursday\, June 27\, 2013 6:30-9:30pmOn Thursday June 27\, 2013 the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation presents TRASK: Preserving Saratoga Springs Through Art\, a one night art show and sale through silent auction. TRASK benefits the restoration of the Spirit of Life sculpture and Spencer Trask Memorial in Congress Park. The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation is currently seeking submission from artists for this juried art show. TRASK will showcase artists who\, in some way honor “the Spirit of Saraotga” through ideas or images of preservation\, local history\, architecture\, landscapes\, and culture\, concepts of philanthropy\, and especially the historic Saratoga Race Course to celebrate its 150th Anniversary.  Works will be judged by Erik Laffer of The Laffer Gallery\, and well-known painter Anne Diggory. Artists will receive 50% of the sale of their work\, with the other half directly benefiting the Restoration Campaign. All entry applications are due Monday\, June 10\, 2013.
