SUMMARY:Balet Flowers New Flower & Arts Barn Ribbon Cutting
DESCRIPTION:The Saratoga County Chamber will be celebrating a ribbon cutting with Balet Flowers on Tuesday\, April 18th at 11am to help promote their Earth Day Celebration and the Grand Opening of our new Flower and Arts Barn that is set for Saturday\, April 22 at 9am. This barn has been in the making for almost 20 years!\n\n\n\nIf the public would like to attend their grand opening on Saturday\, April 22nd\, Balet Flowers has planned an exciting day with games for children and families\; face-painting\; educational displays on native plants and pollinator gardens\; periodic live demonstrations\; information on our future classes\; and light refreshments. There will be an attractive free giveaway while supplies last. Their staff will be available to answer gardening questions\, discuss landscape projects\, and help find plant material. Their greenhouses already are brimming with beautiful annuals\, perennials\, vegetables\, herbs\, and succulents. \n\n \n\nThe theme for Earth Day 2023 is "Invest in Our Planet". In keeping with this\, Balet Flowers & Design will give back ten percent of our weekend sales (Friday through Sunday) in value of plants to pollinator gardens in our local community. We are excited to begin making lists of the keystone plants that are most important to biodiversity in our region. We believe it is essential to support healthy habitats for pollinators that sustain many of our food crops & fruit trees and beautify the flower gardens in our world.
