DESCRIPTION:Girl Scout Cookie Cuisine is a unique gourmet food tasting event\, that highlights some of the most creative culinary arts teams in the Capital Region. Girl Scout Cookie Cuisine is a unique gourmet food tasting event\, that highlights some of the most creative culinary arts teams in the Capital Region. Each team is challenged to craft exclusively prepared recipes utilizing the famous\, and very versatile\, Girl Scout cookies.Attendees of Girl Scout Cookie Cuisine will choose their favorite recipes from a  variety of offerings that will include appetizers\, salads\, entrees\, and of course desserts.  People’s choice awards will be offered for the Best Appetizer\, Best Entrée\, Best Dessert\, and favorite recipe.  To raise the stakes a bit higher\, a panel of Capital Region “celebrity judges” will decide the crowning achievement of Best Overall Dish and Most Creative Use of a Cookie.Proceeds from this event will assist the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York to provide high impact programming to over 11\,000 girls and 6\,000 volunteers in 15 counties as they explore Leadership Development Program opportunities in Science\, Technology\, Engineering & Math (STEM)\, Advocacy\, Healthy Living\, Travel (to local\, national and international destinations)\, and the Outdoors.
