\n The Heavy Pets are an American band that was deemed a “living\, \nbreathing force of nature” by Relix. The Pets are known for their \nsoulful song-craft and powerhouse live performances of their infectious \ndance songs.
The group became an instant Sirius radio sensation\n with the release of their double-disc debut album\, Whale (2007)\, driven\n by hit tracks “Operation of Flight” and “Sleep.”
First \nembraced by the jam scene for their raw talent\, the cross-over sound \nthat is showcased on their self-titled album (2010)\, which was dubbed a \n“Top 10 Album of 2010” by The Huffington Post\, propelled them into the \nperiphery of mainstream music.
Returning to their acoustic \nroots for their third studio release\, Swim Out Past the Sun (2011)\, \nTHP's guitar duo set aside their electric axes for a more organic \napproach. Featuring a three song sit-in by longtime Jerry Garcia \ncollaborator David Grisman\, the album presents a fresh perspective from \nthe ever-evolving quintet. THP and SOPTS were produced and recorded by \nmulti-platinum\, Grammy and Oscar Award-winner Scott Mathews and mastered\n by Grammy Award-winner Vlado Meller.
Following the intensive \nrecording sessions of their previous two releases\, the Pets were eager \nto produce a raw product more true to their notorious live sound while \nadapting to the current recorded music market. That desire is where the \nEverywhere Sessions was born. Everywhere Sessions: Volume 1 EP was \nrecorded in the AURA Music Events Studio in two takes with zero \noverdubbing or editing and features three previously unreleased tracks \nfrom three different song-writers and three different eras.
