She's contributed articles and essays to many prominent publications including:  the Atlantic Monthly’s Food Channel\, the Chicago Tribune\,  Glamour\, Ladies’ Home Journal\, and Mother Jones\, . She is the author of the books Americans at Play and Best of Health (both New Strategist)\, and her work is anthologized in Best Women’s Travel Writing 2010. She's on the faculty of Gotham Writers' Workshop in New York City.
