DESCRIPTION:Dr. Stephen Wrzesinski\, an oncologist with St. Peter’s Cancer Care and Dr. Regina Resta\, an oncologist with New York Oncology Hematology will answer questions related to clinical trials.A panel of cancer medical experts is slated to answer questions about clinical trials on Monday\, January 28 from 6-8 p.m. at the American Cancer Society’s Hope Club\, located at 1 Penny Lane in Latham. Both panelists are local principal investigators for the NSABP clinical trial network. HopeClub member and cancer survivor\, Joe Quinlan will also participate\, sharing his personal experience with clinical trials. Clinical trials represent one way for patients to receive state-of-the-art treatment\, but are not for everyone\, which is one of several topics this program will address. Registration is required.
