DESCRIPTION:The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation will host a public meeting about the restoration of the Spirit of Life and Spencer Trask Memorial in Congress Park. On Monday\, September 23rd\,2013 at 7PM the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation will host a public meeting about the restoration of the Spirit of Life and Spencer Trask Memorial in Congress Park.  The meeting will be held at the Dee Sarno Theater at Saratoga Arts\, 320 Broadway.The Foundation is working in partnership with the City of Saratoga Springs to restore the locally and nationally significant Memorial.  This spring the City hired two expert preservation consultants to assess the condition of the masonry architectural setting and the surrounding landscape as well as recommend restoration measures.  At the meeting\, Martha Lyon\, landscape architect\, and Dan Wilson\, architect\, will present a historic overview of the Memorial\, condition assessment findings\, and treatment recommendations.   The public is encouraged to attend this information meeting\, ask questions\, and provide feedback about the project.
