DESCRIPTION:Regional Premiere of a hysterical comedy!The Local Actors Guild of Saratoga presents the Regional \nPremiere of \nDel Shores’ HILARIOUS \nCOMEDY \nSORDID LIVES\n\nWriter-director Del Shores serves up a heaping helping of \nSouthern-fried comic melodrama in his play about infidelity\, country & \nwestern music\, and Airstream trailers. When their Mother dies Latrelle and \nLaVonda \, along with their Aunt Sissy plan her funeral -- an unenviable task\, \nconsidering that they must carefully hide the deceased's affair with amputee \nG.W. from his wife\, the vindictive Noleta. Meanwhile\, the trio has to come to \nterms with two cases of sexual orientation: Latrelle's openly gay soap-opera \nstar son Ty\, whose sexuality she continues to deny\; and their only brother\, Earl \n“Brother Boy\,” who's serving a sentence in a mental ward for his adamant belief \nthat he is actually country & western legend Tammy Wynette.
