The event is run "American Idol"-style with 3 celebrity judges rating the performance of each band following their time slot. \n\nThe 10 finalists who will perform on June 3rd will be chosen via a YouTube audition video and online entry form available at www.spac.org. Any band can apply to compete in this competition on spac.org through April 24th. All bands that apply will be listed on SPAC's website on April 27th. The public will have the opportunity to select one of the ten finalists by voting for their favorite band on SPAC's website\, www.spac.org\, on April 27th and 28th. The other nine finalists will be chosen by a SPAC Selection Committee.\n\nThe final ten bands will compete for a chance to win a prize package that includes a professionally recorded 5-song EP at The Recording Company and airplay on northeast radio station WEQX.
