Students discover “Native New York,” a program at Brookside Museum!

Registration for our Native New York program is now open!

Fourth grade students are invited to participate in Brookside Museum’s annual “Native New York” program.  Through interactive stations, students learn about the culture of local Haudenosaunee people, including food, games, and storytelling traditions.  Children also learn about how natural materials were used to make necessary items and how centuries old Haudenosaunee ideas still influence modern government. .  Program fee is $5 per person from member schools and $6 per person from non-member schools.  Pre-registration is required.  For more information or to register, please contact Anne Clothier, Director of Education at education@brooksidemuseum.org or call 885-4000.

The program will run:

  • October 7-11 and 15-18
  • 9:30-11:25 and 11:25-1:20 daily
  • $5.00 per member student, $6.00 per non-member student

For more info, email aclothier@brooksidemuseum.org or call her at (518)885-4000 ex. 204.
