Kyle deCamp: Urban Renewal


"Urban Renewal", which has appeared at the Fisher
Center of Performing Arts at Bard College, the Theatre de la City
Internationale in Paris, and the Baryshnikov Arts Center, offers a
meditation on perception, public policy, and the buildings we live in,
from the perspective of a child. DeCamp's interest in the private
impact of urban renewal on a child's sense of place and space will
surely speak to those who saw their own downtown change so
radically in the demolition-happy Sixties.
