First Night is one of the most affordable, family - friendly, and exciting ways to ring in the New Year in the Capital District.

With over 70 performances in 20 venues throughout Historic Downtown Saratoga Springs, there is something for everyone. With rock, blues, bluegrass, opera, choral groups, dance, film, and more, revelers of all ages and interests can ring in the New Year during this not-to-be-missed event.

Kicked off with the First Night Saratoga 5K Run, the event is also a GE Kids in Free Event, which offers free admission for children 12 and under with the purchase of one adult admission button ($15, available for purchase in many locations: http://saratoga-arts.org/firstnight/buttons). There are numerous events geared towards children and families, making First Night a perfect family outing.

Most venues are within easy walking distance of Saratoga’s Broadway, and all venues are accessible by bus service generously supplied by CDTA 

First Night Saratoga admission buttons are $15. Children 12 and under are free with the GE KIDS IN FREE voucher that can be redeemed for an event wristband. Buttons for First Night Saratoga are non refundable. New Year's Eve will happen no matter what the weather, and so will First Night Saratoga! All of our performers will be inside their respective locations. Please dress for the weather - you will spend a lot of time inside and out.
