Volunteers needed for anual Special Olympics 5K run.

The Special Olympics Nwe York is searching for volunteers to assist in set up, registration, water stops, awards and clean up for our anual 5K race. All proceeds benefit Special Olympics New York Athletes; giving them the opportunity to enjoy Olympic-style sports training and competition and the ability to gain a better health experience. With your support, Special Olympics New York will continue to provide these services to more than 51,809 individuals with intellectual disabilities, and continue to offer the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience the joy of achievement, and participate in a sharing of skills and friendship with their families, Special Olympics athletes and the community.
