Caffe Lena Poetry Open Mic with Featured Readers Marilyn Sandberg and Kathleen McCoy

A poetry open mic with featured readers that takes place the first Wednesday of every month. This month’s featured poets are Marilyn Sandberg and Kathleen McCoy. Sign up for the open mic starts at 7, the reading starts at 7:30. Each poets reads two short poems or one longer poem. Marilyn Sandberg has written essays and poetry as a Fellow in the Pennsylvania Writing Project and has been teaching creative writing for years. She is currently writing a mystery novel and a series of memoir poems. She shares her time between Pennsylvania and the Adirondacks. Kathleen McCoy has been widely published in literary magazines. She is an Associate Professor of English at SUNY Adirondack and her most recent publication is the chapbook, Shalom. The event is hosted by Carol Graser.
