Three precocious kids want more than to spend their summer at the Jersey Shore. It’s 1995—the dawn of the Internet Age and the beginning of one of the most bullish financial eras in American history. And three 14-year-olds from New Jersey—a stock market wiz, a computer geek and the self-proclaimed third-most popular girl in school—decide to spend their summer wheeling and dealing in the high-stakes world of securities. They’re only kids, after all, out for a little harmless fun. What could go wrong? Throw in a cabbie from Bosnia, an SEC investigator and assorted other helpful adults, and you have the makings of a first-class financial meltdown—all accompanied by a delightful lineup of nearly 20 original songs.
