Two-day Beginners Blacksmithing Workshop

With leif Johnson. In this class, through demonstrations and discussions students will gain a basic understanding of blacksmithing by designing and forging a pair of functional tongs. Using the techniques they have learned, students can create a project of their own. Students will learn skills and techniques of traditional and modern iron working as well as the equipment, safety and tools used. Fee: $140 Level: Beginner – Intermediate Age: 14+ Students under the age of 14 must have parental supervision.
