William Kennedy’s Roscoe is now an opera by Evan Mack of the Skidmore Music Department. Act one will be part of Opera Saratoga’s 2014 summer festival. Based on the best-selling novel by Pulitzer prize-winning author Kennedy, the 80-minute concert performance will provide Saratoga audiences a first look into this new piece by award-winning opera composer Mack.
