The American Diabetes Association's "Alert Day" Spin Event - 03/26/2013

The American Diabetes Association (Albany office) will hold a spin event on national Alert Day, a one-day “wake-up call” encouraging Americans to take the Diabetes Risk Test.

The event will be held on Tues., March 26 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at VENT Fitness, 1220 Route 146, Clifton Park.The event is open to both club members and non-club members.  The cost is $10 per hour/per bike and there is a 32-bike limit. Individuals can reserve their seat by signing up at VENT’s front desk or contacting Kim Whipple at (518) 348-1500. A table will be set up encouraging spinners to take the Diabetes Risk Test which asks users to answer simple questions about weight, age, family history and other potential risk factors for pre- or type-2 diabetes. Participants will also have the opportunity to sign up for the 2013 Saratoga Tour de Cure, the Capital Region’s premier cycling event.
